Alison Little is a Liverpool-based artist specialising in hand-painted sculptural forms, textile art, and creative projects using reclaimed materials. Working across a broad creative spectrum, her practice emphasises colour, pattern, and sustainability, often incorporating up-cycled textiles and reclaimed resources into her artwork.

As a professional artist, Alison has contributed to numerous public art commissions across the UK, including the iconic Go Superlambanana, Go Penguin, and the Horse Parade in Cheltenham. In 2011, she led the Rags Boutique arts project, transforming a disused retail unit—the Old Paint Shop (Rapid) on Renshaw Street—into a vibrant exhibition space and workshop venue. This six-week project explored fashion and art from reclaimed materials, garnering critical acclaim for its innovative approach.

With a degree in 3D Design, specialising in plastics, Alison combines hand painting, digital media improvisation, and traditional craft techniques to create unique, high-quality sculptures and installations. She has also led workshops for renowned arts organisations, including the Liverpool Independent Art School, Bluecoat Display Centre, and Makefest Manchester.

Her most recent hand-painted sculpture commission was for the Lambanana located at the Lip Doctors in Maghull. Alison continues to work throughout the UK and internationally, delivering bespoke sculptural art and public installations that blend creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainability.
