Her creative projects include the management of Rags Boutique, an initiative that transformed a disused retail unit into an exhibition space and community workshop venue, reflecting her commitment to accessible art and cultural engagement.
Alison gained wide recognition during Liverpool’s Capital of Culture celebrations, when she was commissioned to design two Superlambananas for the iconic Liverpool Public Arts Trail. Since then, she has completed multiple Superlambanana commissions, including her acclaimed Superlambanana Lips for the Lip Doctors in Maghull, decorated with striking lip motifs.
Her other recent work includes contributing to Kirkby Town Centre regeneration, where she reintroduced Viking heritage into public art, and a bold mural created for East Street Arts in Garston, which highlighted her use of strong graphic techniques.
In addition to her visual art, Alison is an active arts writer in Liverpool, publishing insights on the Liverpool creative scene. Her writing has appeared in Hidden Gems, Art in Liverpool, Frisson, and her own widely-read arts blog.
